FOR INVESTORS
Building a royalty book by creating value, not buying it
Royalty aggregation is a proven, well-capitalized model. AllianceXPartners applies the same end-state thesis at a fundamentally different, more capital-efficient entry point.
Why AllianceXPartners is different
Royalty funds buy a slice of the future. AllianceXPartners builds the future first — with someone else’s money — and keeps a slice of what it created.
Traditional royalty funds vs. AllianceXPartners
Source of the cheque
Traditional: their own balance sheet.
AllianceXPartners: EAEU partner co-funds the trial.
How value is created
Traditional: buy existing cash flow at fair value.
AllianceXPartners: create value by running the confirmatory trial.
Entry point
Traditional: de-risked or already-approved assets.
AllianceXPartners: late-stage clinical assets that need data to complete the trial.
New value added
Traditional: none — a single existing market.
AllianceXPartners: a new market (EAEU), funded by a third party.
Ways it gets paid
Traditional: royalty or milestone only.
AllianceXPartners: royalty + warrant + EAEU royalty.
Endgame
Traditional: be the aggregator.
AllianceXPartners: build a royalty book + convertible warrants with near-term liquidity.
A capital-light structure, by design
AXP’s cost basis is orchestration — origination, structuring, regulatory and data governance — not intensive capital. The EAEU partner co-funds the trial itself — that means AXP’s returns are not capped by its own cost of funds the way a traditional royalty fund’s are, and the model can scale across a portfolio of programs without proportional capital calls. A portfolio approach also does the natural risk work: any single confirmatory trial can fail, but a probability-weighted book across multiple programs is the basis on which the platform itself becomes valuable — and sellable.
